Photographer: Myles Nelson (Gimsoy, Norway) ~ The combination with high ISO noise and flash, perfects this image. Its subject matter so simple, yet turned impossible. I love the use of noise in this image as I feel it adds to a rough sense of unsurety and impossibility whilst leaving the photograph silent and calm.

Photographer: Anthony Samaniego ~ I am absolutely, entirely in love with this colour palate. It has a fairly strong occurrence in the majority of his work and I intend to use it to convey a dream-like setting.

Photographer: Jarrad Seng Title: Amelie III ~ This image adopts a fairly central framing option, however manages to emphasise the enormous sizing of what lies around the model in the centre. A similar colour palette, consisting of deep greens, browns and blacks, gives the model a more palpable role in the image. The way in which she gazes upward towards the treetops, could simply suggest the powerful stance of nature, and it's importance in the world around us.

Photographer: Jarrad Seng Title: The Four Factory Model / Post-production: Bella Kotak ~ I like the way this image presents itself in terms of it's colour palette and dark tones. Bella's illustrious white dress contrasts perfectly with the dark greens in both the background and foreground of the image. The smoke like overlay invokes a sense of mystery yet silent peace as if she is taking in what lies around her.

Photographer: Anthony Samaniego (Star Search) ~ A multiple exposure created on medium format film allows for a beautiful composure to exist. This effect allows for stars to exist inside mountains and shrubbery, making a clear link to the idea that the dream exists in all, yet only needs revealing.

glistening stars & silence Sometimes I head up into the local mountains to take photos. The mountains and darkness eminate a foreign adventure.

Photographer: Myles Nelson (Hammersmith Underpass) ~ The photographers exploitation of reflections in this image, adds to quite a conspicuous sense of confusion, forcing us to look deeper into the images texture. As the shot isn't framed perfectly symmetrical, we are given a glimpse above ground, beckoning its legitimacy, yet ulterior objects falsify that fact. From this image, I draw the idea that the dream holds more depth than the reality.

Photographer: Myles Nelson (Isle of Aran, Scotland) ~ A seemingly low clarity value in conjunction with vibrant greens makes this image look as if it was painted. A lonely town lies in the depths of the mountains, whilst darkness swarms in from the corners of the image, perhaps created by a vignette, allowing me to link this image to the inevitable destruction of the environment we live in.

Photographer: Myles Nelson (Lake, Lofoten) ~ I love the reflections in this image and the way they work with alternative subject matter. The use of noise, furthers a sense of violent nature, yet works with the cold colour palate to reveal a calm silence.

Photographer: Anthony Samaniego ~ This image in brilliant! I'm not quite sure as to what the cloud like effect is, however the way it floats over the city like a toxic, synthetic disease is nothing short of perfect.
