a new and modern approach to calendar view. we like the approach and it is consistent with the tile approach we are aiming for in other parts of the website. difficult might be to maintain the updating of events and assigning images as it will create more admin work.
great example of how a selection of videos can be displayed on the homepage
we really like the idea of building a website using a 'tile' approach for rob. each tile can either be a social media feed (twitter/facebook/youtube) , a content feed (news/events/courses/tasting notes) or a call to action (to buy book/ buy app/ events calendar)
another great example of a metro/tile approach to homepage design
example you provided for calendaring
Great Example of what we want to achieve. modern, clean design. We like how the person is imediately in the focus of a visitor and has the options to connect with the person within seconds via social media feeds and blog feeds. Also great how the video is in the focus of the website. also great how the banner advertising is integrated as well as the videos and CTA to purchase the app
we like the way how a score is assigned to each tasting note as well as icons to quickly have an overview on what food the wine goes well with. also a great example of refining and searching for tasting notes
http://fasett.no/en/news/ Another example of a nicely laid out blog or news feed, clean, easy to scan.
A nice card layout for news articles. Also nice how they have integrated the Upcoming Events and Media Releases and a category filter, this would be a good approach for the FCB news, events, and white papers.
