Australian singer songwriter Katie Noonan's interest in convict “love tokens”, led her to research Australia's convict women and set their stories to music. Her research led her to visit the Cascades Female Factory and Port Arthur. The result is Love-Song-Circus, blending Noonan's vocals with three acrobats moving in fluid rhythm around them. Interestingly, the circus troupe she performs with, Circa, also visited and performed at Port Arthur last year, as part of Ten Days on the Island.
