Van Diemen's Land Steam Co

Van Diemen's Land Steam Company's (VDLS) head office is located in Trevallyn, a suburb of Launceston, Tasmania. Perched up on a hillside, it has a clear view of the city across the Tamar River. 'Rusty Gully Mine' On30 narrow gauge rail, a wholly owned VDLS subsidiary, burrows into Trevallyn Hill, behind Trevallyn Gorge, and just below Trevallyn Dam.
