Oudolf's personal garden, Hummelo, Netherlands ... I love the flowers that leave their petals behind for a whirl of pom poms ... I also think the golds/rusts/reds of grasses/dogwoods/faded stems look so great against the deep/vibrant blues and smoky purples of winter sky & shadows, the Netherlands is veeeerrry similar to North American Prairie with regards to light intensity and hues of plants at different times of the day (open skies)
