'Solar Mamas' Rafea is an uneducated Bedouin mother from the Jordanian desert. She gets the chance to go to the Barefoot College in India where middle-aged women from poor communities train to become solar engineers to bring power to their communities.
The woman belongs to a remote village of Rajasthan,India. She is engaged in dye-ing of clothes in a nearby town called Pali.Thus she also contributes financially to her family.
