Dieter Rams' 606 Universal Shelving System has been in continuous production since 1960. However, certain changes have been introduced along the way, the most dramatic being the substitution of wooden shelves with alu endplates for bent steel shelves, once a special use item, now supplied by Vitsœ as standard. The virtue of the wooden shelf over the metal is both aesthetic and design-historical.

Through Deakin College – Complete one-year diploma then enter Deakin as 2nd year student; 3. Through Tafe – Complete one-year diploma, then start your Deakin Course; 4. Through the workforce – Experience in a related field? Get credit for prior learning; 5. Through Deakin – Start a related course, then transfer to this course.
