Last weekend I had the opportunity to be a guest speaker at the Woman of Wyndham festival. This is a South East Asian community of woman who are against domestic violence in the Indian community. My message was no matter which community I go into, I find that we all have common problems and the lack of unity weakens us.

Last weekend I had an opportunity as a guest speaker to train the volunteer workers at the Victoria Maori Wardens who do support work in the family courts with our Maori and Pacific Youth. It was an amazing group of dedicated volunteers giving up their personal time to offer support and guidance to many who are without family support going through the justice system. We covered court processes and organisational structure and procedures. Amazing outcome :)

This reminds me of South Auckland. I'm dropping in to a School out South East Melbourne to mentor a young kid who needs some support and I arrive, school in full lockdown, helicopters circling, 40 police cars surrounding the school with crowds of police gearing up for a take down. The difference is that I was the kid the police were chasing back in the days. Now I'm being the role model that I wish I had when I was a kid!

We spent the last 3 years working with people and helping them get jobs. Now we have a huge database of skilled people who are available for work. If anyone know of any available jobs, we have the capacity to fill them and thereby helping people to add value to the economy and local communities. Here is the FREE QUOTE request form: https://goo.gl/forms/n0x1AefyhfecPgj13

Special thanks to all the kind generous people out there who have donated food to our food bank community pantry. Our program for the food bank involves not only supporting single parents, but also siting with those who need the pantry and helping them work out how to increase their income and how to budget. Feeding people isn't a complete solution in itself. It requires an outcome towards fixing the problems causing the situation.

Come support our Youth in Business Class launching their first business and demonstrating how to MAKE a job instead of WAITING for a job. This is the next generation taking street talent and turning it into business that generates an income. These kids will have the skills to launch their own businesses before they leave school!

At our last Bounce Back program, we were blessed to be donated nearly 100 pairs of brand new and some nearly used sports shoes for our disadvantaged kids. They were so blown away as many of the shoes were high quality Nikes, Jordan's, Adidas, Reeboks and many more. Most of these kids have never owned decent shoes and immediately put on the new shoes and started to play and feel cared for.

Spent this afternoon working at this amazing Drug Rehabilitation Centre helping to get people off drugs. It's one of the only places left in Australia that can do it naturally and doesn't need to use the methadone to get people off. I am learning this process to be able to bring these solutions to our people on the ground who have fallen into the trap and become addicted. There is a way out.
