John Wolseley Heartlands and Headwaters   Over the past four years artist John Wolseley has explored the wetlands of Australia in a major series of new works commissioned by Sir Roderick Carnegie. The different geographical features and unique plant and animal forms of these wetlands are depicted in the finely worked drawing and rich watercolour washes that characterise Wolseley's work. John Wolseley’s exhibition Heartlands and Headwaters, which opened last month at the National Gallery of Victoria, may be the most important exhibition about art and the environment to be held in Australia for a generation.
