Lot of love for yesterday's photograph of Greenpatch so here's a beach that's literally just around the corner from there. This is Hole in the Wall beach. Up until about 10 years ago the hole in question was in that outcrop of rock but the arch collapsed due to natural erosion and now it's more like Brick in the Wall. This is a stunning beach at the top end of Booderee great for swimming snorkeling or mooring your million dollar yacht. Alternatively you can sit on the rocks there and set up…

Any love for Mollymook? We spent the day in Milton Ulladulla and Mollymook and enjoyed the beaches before the wind picked up too much. This is the southern end of Mollymook looking north towards Bannisters Head. In the water you can see members of the Mollymook Surf Lifesaving club training for their bronze medallions while nippers gets under way in front of the clubhouse. :) Like it? Hey gang. I've had some adventures this week that's for sure. The high-point would definitely be discovering the real face of Horsehead Rock (see Friday's photo!) and the low point would be the tick that I picked up in bushland and made me feel decidedly crappy on Saturday and who took some convincing to let go of me. Anyway my last stop on Friday before the weather deteriorated was lovely Narooma. This is a shot taken looking north over the crystal clear waters of Narooma Bar. On the left…

Hey gang. I got up at 4am this morning and pointed the car south. I reckon there was more traffic on the road that time of the day than school run but I digress. I drove as far south as Bermagui and then slowly worked my way back north flying the drone at some choice locations. This is one of those spots. Now you might well have seen photographs of Horsehead Rock near Bermagui. I know I've seen plenty including some awesome night time ones with the Milky Way behind it. But I always thought…

Good morning everyone hoping your week is going with a swing. Because it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing allegedly. Anyway I headed down to Seven Mile Beach today and was greeted with this lovely sunrise. Don't now who moved that bench from behind the surf club up onto the dunes but it's made of concrete so I'm thinking they had help. Also I was bothered by precisely zero flies today which was an awesome added bonus maybe they slept in. Thanks all :) Like it? Put it on your…

Happy Monday team! At the weekend the weather here in the Shoalhaven was looking a bit dodgy for drone flights but the forecast for further north was looking great. So on Saturday I headed up the coast to shoot a few scenic locations in the Illawarra. This was my first stop - the famous Seacliff Bridge. It gets a lot of publicity (Australia.com seem to feature it every week in Friday fan photos) but it's easy to see why. This bridge was opened in 2005 and replaced a dodgy and very narrow…

Well now a very happy Wednesday one and all. I had been meaning to fly my drone at Point Perpendicular for some time and this was pretty much the photo that I pictured in my mind's eye. Taking photos with a drone means I can place the camera precisely where I want it rather than accepting the pot luck of a helicopter or light airplane flight so I was able to frame this shot the way I wanted. Those cliffs are 100m high and as you can see popular with rock climbers and unpopular with sufferers…

The escarpment is a big feature of much of south coast NSW its always there in the background marking the edge of the coastal flood plain. This is a bit just to the west of Berry called Broughton Head. There is apparently a track of sorts up to the top there but I dont know anyone thats been up. I took this at sunset as the last half hour of light picked out the Triassic Hawkesbury Sandstone rocks that make up the escarpment and national parks in this area :) Like it? Put it on your wall…

Well okay then how about this shot for a slice of paradise? This is Narrawallee Inlet which you can find just to the north of Mollymook. I was out here last week at an Instameet hosted by @Iso100photography @PhotographyByJewelszee and @laurenepbath but it was too windy to fly the drone so I was pleased to return and try again. This is an awesome little spot perfect for fishing swimming and paddling. Theres a walk around the headland on the right and you can swim/paddle your way on to…
