An incredibly intricate belle epoque tiara circa 1905. This piece has elements of the Greek Key motif, intertwined with small laurels in diamonds, and three large wreath motifs, each with a central oval stone. More laurels with similar smaller wreaths are suspended from a base line of diamonds just in front of each ear.
Dress ca. 1900-05. Silk satin, tulle, beads, sequins, chenille. Three pieces: bodice, skirt, belt. Bodice lined in brown cotton, skirt lined in black wool. Dress is poorly put together; it was probably made quickly for an event, with tulle sewn onto an old satin gown. Mode Museum, Antwerp
