Denver artist Courtney Mattison has created huge ceramic sculptures that illustrate the effect of bleaching on Australia's Great Barrier Reef. I don't know if she got the current right, but our zeal for polluting the ocean has killed off enough of the GBR that her sculptures may be the only part left in short time. This is on exhibit at the Palo Alto art center now, wish the message could go much further.
