The Whaley House in Old Town, San Diego, #California. This 1857 Greek Revival style home was built for Thomas Whaley and his family. At various times it also housed Whaley's general store, San Diego's second county courthouse, and the first commercial theater in San Diego. The site opened as a museum in 1960, managed by the San Diego Historical Shrine Foundation. Since 2000, it has been maintained by Save Our Heritage Organisation.
