Things to do in Ubud, Bali
Of all the rice fields in Ubud, the most beautiful and famous is the Tegallalang Rice Terrace. These rice paddies cover the slopes of the valley and utilise a traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system called Subak. This vegetarian café was a place we had been recommended, and it lived up to our expectations. You enter through a small shop front and up a skinny set of stairs. The café has an industrial yet laid-back vibe, where you can relax in a lounge chair and listen to the buzz of the main street below. The menu is full of tasty food, but most importantly, the coffee is great, served with a little chocolate treat on the side, and the juices are refreshing....
