The Australian Curriculum: Technologies ensures all students benefit from learning about and working with traditional, contemporary and emerging technologies that shape the world we live in. This area encourages students to apply their knowledge and practical skills and processes when using technologies and other resources to create innovative solutions, independently and collaboratively (Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority, 2015).

This WebQuest scaffolds student understanding of the process involved in designing a new app.  It includes links to websites, activities and assessment allowing students to work at their own pace.  The Australian Curriculum strands of Design and Technologies with English (ACELY1700, ACELY1704) are integrated and the activities could be modified for lower year levels.
