Elements from both open and intimate small garden design can be incorporated in numberless permutations. Here, simple hardscapes with contrasting color, texture and sound are paired with simple seating to give the interior space an unlimited feel. This is surrounded by a tropical forest with understory and overstory, thus providing privacy in an open, meditative space.
