Feeling Good with Pre and Post-Run TLC | The Half-Marathon Diaries. The foam roller is a runner's best friend. I roll out my IT Bands, and quads 3-times a week. I also roll out my upper back, calves and lower back as needed.

A foam roller is a must-have for pre- and post-run TLC to stay injury free! This is my "must have" for after a run to prevent injury and pain. If I do it consistently, I have very little IT Band pain.
