I got these little gift bags from the Dollar Tree and then I just cut the handles right off of them. Then I place them upside down and then I put a upside down tee on them starting from the folded part and I put them in a red, white, and blue pattern. Make sure they're all facing the same direction. Now you're just going to cut off the edges and make it a little bit pointed. It'll be cute and then you're going to put that upside down tee the last one and put them together. I got this little star I put in the middle. I thought that was so cute. Take a hole punch. Take some ribbon. Place your ribbon through the hole and then you're going to tie it up. Now the only thing left to do is the hanger up. Look how cute. God bless America. Happy 4th of July. You gotta try it.

So the first thing we're going to do is we're going to paint two blocks red. So I'm using flamenco red and then we're going to come in with some vintage white and paint one block white. Next I'm coming in with some ocean chalk paint and we're going to I painted two but you're only going to need to paint one. I changed this up just a little bit. So then I went ahead and I sanded all of the blocks that we just painted. Make sure they're dry first. Then I'm going to come in with some stick fast and I'm going to start to glue them together. Gonna go red, white, red, white, and then the blue one is going to go on the side. Next I'm taking my stamps. You can find these at Hobby Lobby. And taping them together helps them to stay straight. And then I'm going to stamp USA onto some paper. And then I'm just going to tear it up. I want it kind of as close to the USA as I can get it. So some of that blue still comes through. Then crumble it up and I use some antique wax to give it a more rustic look. Give it a good dry and then I went in with some Dixie Belle antique wax and that is in the color black just for even more of a rustic look. I took that same Dixie Belle wax over the entire wood block and then I mod podged the USA up and down the blue stripe there and this turned out so cute.
