Wishing a happy birthday to a legendary Australian Cricket Team captain, Allan Border.

299-Allan Robert Border played 156 Tests, a record until passed by Steve Waugh. He retains the world record for number of consecutive Test appearances (153) and Tests as captain. He was a left hand batsman and part-time left arm orthodox spinner. Border made 11,174 Test runs at 50.56 including 27 centuries, a world record until passed by Brian Lara, Border left his successor Mark Taylor with a side that went on to be the best in the world.
