This is a perfect representation of the war torn world. They are giving a message to the young people who want to kill and fight people, not to do it because it doesnt make a man out of you, infact it represents that god wants us to forgive and love everyone regardless of what the situation is. Bullets are a sign of death and the hands represent prayer. this is very interesting to me because it has the characteristics of respect and passion
I really like this image particulaly because it represents that the world is going down the drain because of the way we are treating it. the seas are rising and it is sending a message to big polluters to stop and rethink of environmentally friendly ways of making a factory work. It really made me think about the world to, will the seas eventually flood the land on earth.
This is an idea of showing the process from after the end of the world and the world rebuild. I think that this a great way to start a new life and it it symbolising a new start to life instead of pain and suffereing in the current world. We all eventually need to change and live life to the fullest. It really interested me because the globe is in a sand jar and it interconnects with the draining away of the past theme.
I really liked this image because it shows that life is worth more than money and having fun. Respect and love are the most important things, along with health and unity. This sends out a message to the people on the wrong side of things to straighten up and stop this bad stuff. Great work i believe the author has done for this. Kudos!
This is a great example of a visual metaphor because of the irony that is contianed in the image. Global warming and pollution are a big factor in todays world and yet we tend to abuse them because we dont care. This image sends a message to people that they need to 'focus' on global and pollution. It is a great layout design for a page cover.
This design is basically a sketch book that is telling a story about a event in life and wild life. I really like this image because it has the characteristics of a Haiku design book that is a Japanese form of reading comics. This definatley shows an array of typography to a large degree because of the text that is on the actual image itself. At times it tricks me into seeing a different aspect of a story in it.
I particularly like this visual journal design because of its calm vicinity of flowers and reddish pinkish colour. The author plays a major role in this to make the face come out of the background to make it look like there is a dull face in front of the flowers. It plays a trick on the way the eye communicates with the brain. It has a great text positioning that blends into the background and it has direct contact with the eye, there is no need to find the text positions.
Zen tangle/visual journal - This is an awesome visual for a journal because it feels like the pages are combined over day by day stances. What really interested me in this design was the amount of colour that has gone into it, I mean there's literally little to no dull feelings in this design and this will automatically attract the eye of the audience.
