Art: Angry Penguins & other Australian Artists

Arthur Boyd, Sidney Nolan, Albert Tucker and Joy Hester are considered to be the major figures of a modernist movement in Australian art, based in Melbourne, which has determined and shaped Australian contemporary art. The Antipodeans were a group of Australian modern artists who asserted the importance of figurative art, and protested against abstract expressionism.
