Hosting a Mother's Day brunch? Mix up some Sangria: 1 bottle Brown Brothers Cienna chilled 2 ripe yellow peaches 2 cups strawberries 1 large orange 1/4 cup sugar 200ml brandy or vodka 1 can (375ml) of ginger ale Slice your washed fruit, and combine in a large bowl with sugar and brandy or vodka. Soak the fruit, turning it occasionally, for at least an hour (2 or 3 hours would be better). Add the Cienna and the ginger ale, mix well and serve with ice.
From our Mum to yours - Named after Patricia Brown, the Patricia range is a combination of the best that we can do in viticulture and winemaking, and it is very special to the company and the Brown family. Our Patricia Chardonnay is an elegant wine balancing natural acidity with intense fruit flavour.
This dessert is totally acceptable to eat for breakfast or brunch! What a great way for your Mum to start the day! We'd serve it with a glass of Cienna - low in alcohol and rich and juicy with a refreshing spritzig finish.
