I've updated my Decimal of the Day sheet I use in my fifth grade math class to include a space for expanded form with exponents (as required by Common Core Math).

Christmas Craft Project: Advent Calendar-- think I'll sew some small, reusable cloth bags, and find a slightly different way to arrange the clothes pins, so that there's more space for the bags. Love the idea of painting the clothes pins, though!

These look like German Christmas ornaments.  Would also be good to make with ESL students as a practical application for new vocabulary, especially following directions and imperatives.
