Tower 28 Gold Coast lifeguard beach tower
Original artwork - graphite on paper 560x760mm. I could tell you this drawing of the iconic Kurrawa Surf Lifesaving Tower is full of cultural meaning, full of Gold Coast history or just full of sand induced wedgies but really I drew it because...well who doesn't love a snapshot of the beach! Made using rich, high carbon and graphite pencils. I think these work nicely to capture that sticky, sandy air feeling.

Being a fan of a waterside supper with riparian entertainment, this sun loving Australian water dragon will only share his sun spot if you share your sandwich! For those of you who don’t live in Australia, these harmlessly shy characters love to bask in full sun. They are native to eastern Australia and can be found wherever there is water and people with lunch. #artforsale #graphite art #australianwaterdragon

Artwork for sale: 'Find your oasis'
(Now sold. Contact artist direct for Limited Edition Prints) This graphite piece is inspired by expansive desert sands. A barren, inhospitable landscape where everything yearns for a dab of chapstick. Parching winds and lack of water are a trial. But sometimes, something unexpected appears. In the distance, a fertile, inviting oasis full of life. Three camels and three friends depicted remind us to huddle with those we love to brave the storms of life. Hold their hand and find your oasis.
Displaced - graphite drawing
This striking graphite drawing captures the stark reality of relentless natural disasters and the carnage left in their wake. Unfortunately in 2017 tropical cyclone “Debbie” hit the Whitsundays causing untold devastation. Inspired from a photo taken in 2019, this enormous completely uprooted tree is one such victim, now laying on the pristine white silica sands of Tongue Bay, Whitsunday Island. This drawing reminds us the fragile ecosystem is on a long road to recovery. Use link to see/buy
