CAROLYN gifts

The pleasure is in the creating and thinking of the recipient while it is being made. It is in the giving and seeing the surprise and joy that it brings.

CD decorated box. I decorated this dear little wood box using a cd that was no longer any good. the little box is behind and covered with coordinated paper. I covered the cd with paper and my mate, God love him used his art skills to make this paper fence. He even went ahead and positioned the sweet birds and flowers lol. The box was about 2 dollars from cheap shop and rest from my craft stock. Cost to make this about 4 dollars tops. Love it for a desk container.
I had this miniature wire framed pram approx 2 inches tall and 2 1/2 wide. I decided to put a baby paper doll inside complete with blankets and pillows. This is a gift for my 7 yr old Grandaughter. I will pin the little girl one as well. Excuse me as new today to pinning. Season's Greetings & Peace
I made this little frame for my beautiful Grandaughter Ashleigh Jewel. I included a Serenity Prayer for her to look to as she grows into a young woman. I covered the inside frame in very fine pale pink tulle given to me by Ashleigh's Great Aunt, so sweet.
I made these for my Grandaughter Ashleigh Jewel. A book mark to encourage her to keep reading, a pencil box to store her pencils and to encourage her to write down her thoughts and the Serenity Prayer for wisdom.
Scrapbook treasures. Laces, beads, embellishments, miniatures.
Here is a vintage wire bassinette with the little baby girl paper doll. These were so cute to make and they were not expensive. I know my 7 yr old Grandaughter will love playing with her.
Book mark and Pencil Case (or hair ties) This for my Grandaughter Brittany Joy to either use as a hair tie case or whatever she chooses. Hope she likes it.
I decorated this craft hat box for my daughter this Christmas (don't tell). The hat box was from a cheap shop and you can see the original pattern under the lid lip. I used what lace I had in my craft box. The beautiful lady is from Graphic 45 paper. I know she will find a use for this pretty hat box. I will pin some other sides of the hat box as not sure how to do multiples as new to pinning today.
The pretty hat box other side. I used an old plastic buckle to thread the ribbon through. The affirmation was from Graphic45 paper which I pinned using a brad.
This is another view of the pretty hat box I decorated. The Graphic45 picture is tucked inside a strip of cellophane from some packaging, (I don't throw anything out lol). The cellophane protects the picture from being torn or crumpled when the hat box is in use. Hope you like it. Total cost for the hat box made worked out to be around 10 dollars.
