Chifferobe - Chifferobes were invented in the United States and became popular in the early 1900s, particularly in the South....................We had one of these. There was a mirror the full length of the door on the right side where my hang-up clothes were. The left side was where my folded clothes were stored. Dad kept his hat, wallet, loose change, and a comb in the top left door. :)
After spotting this tutorial on Pinterest, I knew it was the technique that I wanted to use on the dresser. So I purchased paintable wallpaper at Lowes, and attached it to the drawer fronts with spray adhesive. Once it was dry I used an x-acto knife to cut off 1″ from the edge of the drawer. Scott cut shoe moulding to create a finished look.
