Christmas Day

We have journeyed through Advent and have arrived at Christmas. Now as we light the candle of Christ we thank God that the wait for our salvation is over. Our Savior Jesus Christ has come. He came in the birth of a small baby boy, born in a manger to save us from our sins. Jesus will come again soon and finally put all things right. Advent Week 2

This week we light the 2nd Advent candle, the Peace candle. As we prepare our hearts to celebrate Christmas, let us remember our need for a Savior to save us from our sins, who gives us peace with God. When Christ comes to us he brings us peace and he will bring everlasting peace when he comes again. Only through Christ can true peace be found.
