Fertility - Years ago, my husband brought home a terra cotta egg from a salvage yard. Finally, in 2013, I sealed it well and started a mosaic inspired by folk art designs in MX. The front features a pair of fancy birds surrounded by flowers and a few insects. I put a tree of life on the back. It is currently on display in Downtown Auburn, WA as part of their outdoor sculpture gallery.

Floating glass mosaic sphere by Sue Smith, member of the Contemporary Glass Society. She uses scrap stained glass where possible which Sue buys from leaded glass artists, plus new glass. This is mosaic-ed onto a polystyrene ball which can be displayed on water or land.
