Stephanie Rosenthal. The Biennale of Sydney today announced the appointment of Stephanie Rosenthal as artistic director of its twentieth edition, set to take place in Australia in 2016. Since 2007, Rosenthal has served as chief curator at the Hayward Gallery in London, and before that worked for a decade as curator for modern and contemporary art at the Haus der Kunst in Munich.

She replaces Mr. Tan Boon Hui, who took on a new role as Group Director, Programmes at the National Heritage Board of Singapore with effect from 1 July 2013.
