80th Birthday semi-naked cake topped with a mass of Australian native sugar flowers. Flowers consisted of a magnificent Protea surrounded by wattle, gum nuts, flower and leaves, flannel flowers, punty bush (cassia-senna eremophila) and silver turkey bush (eremophila bowmanii). The cake was a sticky date cake layered with caramel Italian Meringue buttercream.
