“Baroque Art”

Most important and major paintings during the period beginning around 1600 and continuing throughout the 17th centuries are identified today as “Baroque” paintings. Baroque art is characterized by great drama, rich, deep colour, and intense light and dark shadows. Opinions & Theology are a large part of these works; curiosity into the age of “Baroque” Art has been well documented over several centuries. I have wanted to give examples of “Baroque” Fine Art for some time now so here they are!
