The UTS tower was established in 1978, using the style of brutalist architecture, it was considered as a groundbreaking style of architecture back then. In my opinion I believe the style of brutalist architecture did not suit the University of Technology in our modern time. Being the University of Technology the tower should symbolize great technological advancements and creativity, and appear bright, clean and almost futuristic.

The wavy design of the roof is spectacular and if it were to rain, the water would be led down this narrow space that is directed across the roof and off the edges. Later on this design would influence one of my concepts for Bardwell Park Station.
