Eucalyptus gunnii 'Azura'. Flowers Jul-Oct. Prune Eucalyptus in April at the earliest, otherwise you risk dieback from cold weather. Best grown in an open, very sunny spot in soil that is not prone to waterlogging. Eucalyptus drink a lot of water while growing, but do not do well in the UK if they sit in water, especially during the winter months.The recommended planting distance between each plant is 1.5-1.8m, for hedge or screen.
Eucalyptus caesia “Silver Princess” is a small Eucalypt that can grow to 5m. It has a very ornamental weeping habit and a silvery, white powdery substance that covers the branches and adds to it’s appeal. Red flowers appear during winter and although they are not as prolific as some Eucalypts they still very much add to the appeal of this tree. Can be coppiced to form an attractive freeform hedge. very adaptable to most soil conditions as long as the soil is reasonably well drained
