Dead rose plant in the garden outside of the library. Macro mode turned on. ISO 200, white balance turned off. The photo came out okay, however there are some improvements that could be made. For example, the focus I felt as the photo didn’t really capture the texture of the plant as much as I would like it to. I do like the how the photo was interesting.

Forever Locked. When you first look at the photo, there is many aspects to look at but what draws your attention the most would be the rusted and worn out lock. This draws you in because it is one of the biggest aspects of the photo but also of the way the background surrounds it. I like how the lock is off centre instead of in the middle because it uses the rule of thirds. The only thing I would change about this photo is to get whole lock in the photo, I don't like how the top is cut off…

Rose in the garden outside of the library. Macro mode turned on, ISO on 200, white balance turned off. The eye is drawn to the flower because it is in focus and also of how it is positioned, it isn’t in the middle but more towards the left. The rose is really clear, you can see the two different colours, the pink mixing in with the white colour, and it stands out because the background is green and blurred.

Pipes and hoses on top of my shed at my backyard. ISO on 400, macro mode on, white balance on auto. What i like most about this picture is the sun going down in the background. It is also a bit blurred in that area. The very front of the image which were the pipes, turned out very clear which made me pleased

Vertical picture of dog leashes on a tree at my backyard. ISO on 1600, macro mode on, white balance on auto. I took the picture facing the camera slightly downwards to create blur at the bottom- which happened as I had hoped. I originally set my ISO on 200, but it triggered the flash causing the light to bounce back, making most of the photo very dark- this is why I increased it to make more available light come through, not triggering the flash.

Vertical photo of tree outside dance room. ISO on 800, macro mode on, white balance auto. I was very happy with this photo as it turned out exactly as i had hoped- clear at the bottom, blurry at the top. Gives a different perspective instead of just straight on.
