Poem of Togetherness Campaign

The 20th Century Turkish poet Orhan Veli once wrote a Poem of Loneliness, describing in eloquent heartache the pain of lost connection. Orhan Pendant
This lapis lazuli pendant in the shape of a beetle is suspended using the ancient jewellery-making technique of wire wrapping. Orhan Veli was a Turkish poet of the early-mid 20th Century who transformed lyrical writing in his local language. His poem Böcekler speaks with pining directness to the nature of love: Don’t think / Just desire / Look, that’s what insects do too.

In a capsule collection of lapis lazuli and carnelian pendants, hand carved and wire-wrapped in golden filament, she speaks to the stories, symbols, and myths of the Anatolian region.

This lapis lazuli pendant in the shape of a sea creature’s tail is suspended using the ancient jewellery-making technique of wire wrapping.
Boreas Necklace
Gold pendant with engraved face suspended on a white shell necklace. One brown shell is suspended next to the gold pendant. Boreas, Greek god of the cold north wind, is depicted as a bearded man with billowing cloak. He holds a conch symbolising the winds he governs.
