The Grand old Bellvue Hotel, Brisbane Queensland. Knocked down in the dead of night by the Deen brothers with the approval of the Bjelke-Petersen government. The Bellvue Hotel was heritage listed at the time.

Bellevue Hotel, Corner of George and Alice Sts, 1940. Built in 1886 and was three storeys high with cast iron balustrades on the wrap around verandas, with posts supporting a curved corrugated iron roof. A steep pitched roof shows two mansard roofs with cast iron cresting and chimneys. Demolished April 1979 after midnight, under instructions from Premier Joh Bjelke-Petersen, by the Deen Brothers, with police protection.
