The specialised research facilities and administration spaces occupy the higher levels of the centre and are linked back to the clinics through the spatial continuity of the atrium. CSM was specified to provide storage solutions to meet the high-density archival storage requirements of the administrative spaces. Self based Rolling Storage was designed and manufactured for this purpose and customised to integrate ramp access to eliminate trip hazards and comply with OHS standards.

The Kinghorn Cancer Centre is a joint facility of St Vincent’s hospital and Garvan Institute of Medical research, located at 370 Victoria Street, Darlinghurst. Designed by BVN Donovan Hill the Kinghorn Cancer Centre is a world-class facility, bringing together researchers and clinicians onto a single site, the centre aims to develop new diagnostics and therapeutics informed by advances in microbiology, in partnership with the delivery of personalized medicine and holistic health care.
For Hill-Rom’s new Sydney headquarters designed by Invogue, CSM provided Infinity Tambour Cabinets that optimise function, modularity and security. The unique engineering of the cabinets ensures that valuable floor space can be conserved whilst still maintaining a maximum internal storage capacity. All of which were key considerations for the fit-out of this health care company’s offices.

In working with NSW government health organisations, the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is a well known institution known locally and internationally as a leader in providing ground breaking innovations in medical care. CSM has developed a place to store medical records. Shelving in the Rolling Storage units has been adapted to store x-rays, which has developed from specified dimensions to safely store records in the Oncology department of the hospital.
In the open office spaces, CSM provided Infinity Tambour Door Cabinets and Infinity planter boxes, which integrate seamlessly into the design and also serve to partition the workspaces. The Sistema Wall unit along with open bookcases and long span shelving provided adequate high-density storage for Roche’s archival purposes. Additionally, CSM’s classic Trove Lockers were installed to provide staff with personal locking storage.
