San choy bow/bau Rice paper rolls  Usually San choy bow/bau is served in a lettuce cup. Last weekend I had a picnic so decided to turn this delicious Asian dish into a rice paper roll. The results were amazing. I used turkey mince instead of pork or chicken, loaded with heaps of herbs and vegetables with Baby kale, carrot and red cabbage. Definitely give this one a try.

Haldi Ka Doodh – Golden Milk (turmeric milk) After finishing my last detox, I decided it was time to give up my daily latte once and for all and convert to an alternative drink. I am now drinking herbal teas and roobois chai with soy milk. As the cooler months start to settle in, I have began making this warming drink once a week.

Blueberry lemon yogurt cake This cake is a winner, especially for those who are not big cake fans. It is a shallow cake with yogurt, blueberries and lemon flavours. Not very sweet and if you want it sweeter you could just add more blueberries,  maple syrup or vanilla or you could also place in stewed apples. Give a try and let me know what you think.

What I love about making my own granola is you can make it exactly to your taste and sweetness. My main tip for making your own granola is to make your granola with grains only. Heating/roasting nuts and seeds destroy their nutritional benefits, so adding them after the granola is complete will make your granola much more nutritious and beneficial.
