Lioness of McLaren Vale Shiraz

Lioness of McLaren Vale is sourced from Angus and Helen Tuck's vineyard located in the subregion of Bakers Gully. Here mature Shiraz vines populate or perish, in the ironstone pebble laden clay loam, over ancient Kurrajong Formation geology, a silica cemented conglomerate most suited to grow Shiraz.

Lioness of McLaren Vale Shiraz 2011 "From a single vineyard in the foothills of McLaren Vale, hand picked and whole bunch-fermented for 12 days, then 18 months in some new, mainly old, French barriques. Neither fined nor filtered. Excellent colour, flavour and texture for the vintage, with red and black cherry fruit on the supple medium-bodied palate." Drink by: 202.
