Set of 3 Bristle Fan Brushes perfect for spatter- not too floppy, not too hard!
I love a size 12 hog's bristle fan brush. It has been ridiculously difficult to replace the ones I've been using for 20 years, but here they are at last. Apologies if I've already grabbed so many there's none left for you, but I can't deal with that kind of anxiety again!!!! If you don't need the bigger set pinned previously, or just want extra big ones so you can spatter 3 different colours at once, grab 'em. #affiliatedisclosure

I'm such a fan of fan brushes!
FINALLY I have managed to find some fan brushes big enough and strong enough to spatter exactly the way I want them to, at a decent price. Less than $25 for the set of 6. I've only been looking for two decades... you better believe I've ordered several sets to tuck away in my studio against the horror of never finding them again! There is a smaller set of 3 also pinned, and that set does have a big size 12 if you only really want a big juicy spatter brush.
Like a pebble with a handle, for when your pebble is too chunky!
Creating broken textures with knives is tricky, but these delightful wee silicon tools are so responsive it's marvellous. I can see them changing the way I create textures on canvas, with paint and with texture paste. Stupidly excited to have a new game-changing tool in my hands! #affiliatedisclosure
Long Flats for best acrylic brushing!
I love a long flat brush. The longer bristles hold more paint for a longer stroke, and the taklon lets paint go onto your canvas easily. This set of 12 includes nice big ones, is super reasonably priced less than $40 and is a great alternative to buying expensive brushes individually. I've given them a good test drive in my studio, and they're great. They don't shed, either. Winning!
Mylar for stencil cutting, A4 x 127 micron at best price!
The milky mylar I've used in the past sadly isn't available any longer, but this clear version cuts beautifully with my Silhouette Cameo 3 and it isn't ridiculously expensive, as some are. I use a standard grip sticky mat, and Autoblade settings of Blade 10, Force 33, Speed 2, and 2 passes. #affiliatedisclosure
Jo Sonja Clear Glaze medium
My absolute must have product is this satin finish clear glaze medium. I always want my colours to be translucent and luminous, and this glaze does it all. Compatible with the Atelier Interactives I love for their clarity, I get a little nervous when I only have 2 spare bottles... #affiliatedisclosure
Cleaning sticky mats between stencils is essential!
I've had my set of these exact scrapers for years, and they've cleaned hundreds of mats. Every time you cut a stencil, you must remove all the cut-out bits of mylar before you re-load new mylar for the next stencil. These guys make it so quick and easy! #affiliatedisclosure

Sticky cutting mat for Silhouette Cameo
Here's the sticky mat I use in my Silhouette Cameo 3 to cut my stencils. It's a low priced 3 pack with the right amount of stick - too strong and you'll rip your stencil trying to get it off, too little stick and your cut will be all over the place, or worse, a wee bit of mylar will disengage and cause all kinds of issues inside your machine. #affiliatedisclosure
Artist's Mixing Guide for Flesh Tones
Flesh tones are super, super tricky. This guide lets you see the colour family most suited to your subject and mix up the lights, midtones and darks you'll need before you even begin! I made it for myself, and I will never tackle a realistically coloured portrait without it right beside me. Get it large, get it small - you won't be sorry!
De's very own colour wheel on posters, prints or canvas!
I needed a colour wheel painted with actual artist's pigments that, unlike most colour wheels available, included magenta and turquoise. So I made it myself with Atelier Interactives colours, and here it is for your use.Such an important guide for working out both colour mixing and harmonies! Get it big or small for your painting space- I can't paint well without mine :)
