This is one of my favourite things in the whole world!! lol It's a 15 inch working steam model of the Loco 1 probably built in 1875 for the 50th annivrsary of the opening...but nobody really knows much else about it. If I could steal one thing from the Shildon Railways Museum...this would be it ;)

I recall the Loco 1 and Derwent here on the platform at Bank Top Station in Darlington...I used to walk by the every day at one point to catch the train, but I remember them there all my childhood. I was especially entranced by their wheels.
