Poverty in Africa. This picture makes me so sad and hurt because I know the struggle of being without food. This kids are suffering without food and here people are playing with the food.If only their parents can't feed them because they don't have job.

Puts things into perspective...

The 1980 World Press Photo of the Year by Mike Wells a foreign missionary in Uganda holds the hand of a starving boy. A massive famine at the time killed of the population including of all infants.

These children are starving, they live in a place with extreme poverty. Most of the time these young children in poverty struck areas are forced t work at young ages while still not being able to get food.

africa, famine and poverty

I utterly REJECT the idea that an all loving all knowing all powerful god would allow so much needless suffering, especially by children. Religion, God is Imaginary, Children, Starvation. And tell me again - WHY - should I believe in god?

Disturbing and horrifying. But it's a call to stop eating animals and feed the children. Veg/vegan people save not only the lives of innocent animals but we save the lives of the starving children - feels SO GOOD to be kind and follow Jesus's example of love and mercy.

This is what starvation is. it is going on in our world, but not in America. We can help and we should help. Goodgle Katie Davis and Africa and help her organization. Do it today, what if you saw this child on the street, wouldn't you help?
