Small over the shoulder bag. This bang was made from two old shirts, using both navy blue and black. Decoration includes buttons and 2 pleats, on at the front and other at the back. All up this took about 4 hours including drawing up the pattern.
Small iPad/MacBook Air over the shoulder bag, made from an old shirt. This took about 2 hours to make (with a baby interrupting me for attention), not including the time it took to draw up the pattern.
Made this cot sized Murphy bed for my son. We have very little space and needed something that could be a bit more versatile that a regular bed. We bought all the plywood from Bunnings for $54 and all the hinges and support wood was rescued from old building materials we got for free. It's all screwed together using chipboard screws. Took one day to design another to buy and collect the wood and another day to put it all together.
Took about 10 minutes to sew together this pencil case for going back to school. Just used two 15x40cm blocks of quilting fabric and a 45cm zipper. It's a good idea if you want a non-commercial pencil case to a particular size. In particular this one was to hold a 30cm ruler with the other stationary and not need to be forced open or shut.
