Analysing Visual Texts for English HSC Exams (Activity)

We'll be covering how best to decipher visual texts for exam revision. The main objective is to identify all the techniques used by the author to insight thought and meaning in the viewer. Deconstructing Poetic Techniques (Activity)

Try to find as many poetic techniques that you can from the poem Anthem for Doomed Youth. Wilfred Owen was a soldier in the First World War. He's well known for describing the atrocities of war through poetry and depicting the suffering and guilt that all people endured throughout the conflict. Owen was shot and killed on 4th November 1918, a week before the war ended. Cross-reference with the video link to see which techniques you've found and post in the comments any techniques we missed.
