It took more than 2 years to create this 230.17ct. diamond, the largest pear cut in the world. In 2007 it was purchased by Steve Winn and mounted in an amazing Cartier platinum diamond necklace valued at $1.1 million dollars, now that’s just the mounting, the 231ct. diamond is not included. The stone itself, color “H” clarity “VSL”, sold for more than 15 million.
