1 Samuel 13:1-14; 14:18-48; 15:1-35-God Rejected Saul as King; Use this activity to teach children about obedience. Give each child the opportunity to be the policeman, telling the other children to perform different actions (examples: run, walk, skip, talk, turn around, etc.) & then signaling the children when to "go" & when to "stop." The teacher then wears a king's crown & disobeys every direction, demonstrating how King Saul disobeyed God's instructions.
