Florence Griffith-Joyner, also known affectionately as Flo-Jo, American Olympic track and field athlete. She was considered the "fastest woman of all time," based on the records she set in the 1988 Olympics for both the 100m & 200m, which still stand and have yet to be seriously challenged. She also became known for her long, ornately painted fingernails and sense of style. She was the wife of the triple jumper Al Joyner & the sister-in-law of the heptathlete Jackie Joyner-Kersee. R.I.P.
