In 2007 it was purchased by Steve Winn and mounted in an amazing Cartier platinum diamond necklace valued at $1.1 million dollars, now that’s just the mounting, the 231ct. diamond is not included. The stone itself, color “H” clarity “VSL”, sold for more than 15 million.
