We always went to the Days of '47 Parade, and unfortunately had to sit in the hot sun until I thought I would pass out. I think Mom and Dad enjoyed it, but mostly took us to make my dad's parents happy, since we sat together with Dad's relatives on a flatbed truck.
A Fun Way to Serve Up S’mores: No Fourth of July party is complete without s’mores. Serve them up in french fry holders and festive paper cones. Once sundown hits, you can just light the campfire and pass out your pre-prepped s’mores fixings.
