The relationship between neuroscience research and education is no exception. While there are numerous educational products that claim to be based on neuroscience research (often quite dubiously so), the real impact of brain-based research on education has been much more subtle.
7 Up (1964) A documentary about a group of seven-year-old British children from widely ranging backgrounds are interviewed about a range of subjects. Director Michael Apted plans to reinterview them at seven-year intervals to determine how their lives and attitudes have changed.
Jackie, Lynn and Sue — pictured here at age 7 — are three of the children featured in the landmark 1964 documentary 7 Up. The series returns this year with 56 Up, checking in with a group of 14 men and women whose lives have been documented since they were kids.
Unbelievable film I think everyone should watch. Undiscovers the things we turn our heads from- exposing farm factories, to zoos, and medial experiments on animals. EARTHLINGS, insight into the Meat Industry. A documentary free to watch online, the film "Meet Your Meat" is also a good one too.
56Up is now being released. Humbling, beautiful, controversial, and in a word, amazing series following the lives of a group of British kids beginning in the '50s, now in their mid-50s (checking in every 7 years).
